How you ended up to Thailand?

When I was around 28 I decided that I don't want to stay in Finland rest of my life. Too long winter, darkness, coldness and the fact that I had my education done made me plan for total change. I sold everything and I traveled to US June 2005. Had a great time traveling with Train Pass many different cities = New York, Boston, Montreal, Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans, Nashville, Washington, Philadelphia, Milwaukee etc. I went for example to the LIVE8 concert and met many great people. Had a greatest time of my life until that point. My first Chet Atkins Convention visit was 2005 as well and I have visited in Nashville 7 times since, every year. I went to museums, read some books...

After couple months in US, I went to Australia were I stayed 7 months total. I exercises, did skydiving, swimming, met some more great people and learned about life.

In Australia I met bunch of Finnish guys and they were planning to visit Thailad. I did not have any plans or flight tickets so I joined them. Thailand was a shock in positive way and but I knew that I've found place where I want to be most in my life. I postponed my flight to Finland, fortunately met my gorgeous wife, we married, bought a house and rest is history. I spent everything I've ever earned as a guitar teacher and musician but I have never repented my decision. I came to Thailand first time 2006 April and it has been the place to be for me. Sunny weather year around, great food, massage, lot of smiling people, Bangkok is amazing, great beaches, weird things to see etc.
