Hi Tomi,

I'm a member of your website for almost 2 years now...

Thanks to you I improved my guitar skills, your method is very efficient. Thanks a lot !!

I was wondering if you could teach us how to play your arrangement of Yakety Axe ?

Cheers 8)

Tomi Hi

Thanx for this months lessons........

one thing…..Its clear you are struggling to get 3 songs a month out to us.

You don't seem to be enjoying it. I get the feeling because you said you would do 3 songs a month, you are sacrificing the quality.

Put a poll up on the front page to see what people expect from you.

I would be happy with 2 detailed lessons per month. one from you and one from Boom Chob maybe?

This is not a criticism by any means.

Talk to us, i sure most of us will understand the time it takes to do these lessons.

Thanx

John

Hello Tomi,

I want to let you know I enjoy your guitar lessons very much, especially the last ones.

Making a bon jovi guitar book could be a good idea.
But there are some other interesting things you could to with your musical skills.

Last year I have attended a fingerstyle guitar workshop with Pierre Bensusan in France. He taught us during a week techniques and songs.
It was great fun, not only to learn alot in a short period of time, but also to spend a week with 8 people from all over the world who share the same interest.

Would it not be interesting to organise a workshop/holiday where you teach people tips and tricks how to arrange songs?

I would be open to help organising such an event if there are enough people interested

cheers
simon

I've been thinking about to make an album but I want to make it to people not myself. One idea I want to do is to arrange Bon Jovi songs for guitar. You think that would be something you would be interested of?"

^^ Tomi,

That would be absolutely brilliant!!! :grin Bon Jovi are my fave band and I found your site while searching for good acoustic versions of their songs! If you somehow managed to do a version of Dry County, I will get a flight over there and buy you a pint!! 8)

Cheers,
Dave

I absolutely love your arrangement for Sweet Child O' Mine and was wondering when the lesson will be released. Thanks for all the great videos.

YO TOMI! :grin
Dude the GNR S.C.O.M ROCKS!
Was wondering how you were gunna go about it and think its magic. Impressed.

Heard it through the grapevine by Marvin Gay for next month? Although you've had hundreds for next month so maybe month after.....am chilled...still struggling to get to grips with the Stand by Me beat tap from a few months ago!!!

Keep up the Good work....and by the way I think you'd be limiting yourself if you only did Bon Jovi on a potential album....Think a rock classics with Hotel Cali, Dont Cry, Sweet child as the vibe would be better received...thats my opinion anyway...(although from the voting it seems as if movie soundtracks is the way to go??!! )

Anyway thats enought outta me. Keep up the good work amigo.

Hi

I really think there is a rather gaping hole in the repertory without any Nick Drake songs - any chance?

thanks

Hi James,

Sure I can put to the poll Nick Drake. What you want to hear?

Tomi,

I would like to suggest the song "To Be With You" (Mr. Big). Sungha Jung (User: jwcfree ) plays this song on YouTube in fingerpicking manner. I think you can do it better.
